The recent Fring update has made many of their customers upset, it looks like they don't care and are not willing to reply to their customers. After waiting for almost over a month for Fring to release a working I got fed up and decided to make a list of alternative apps that are similar to Fring. So fear not there are many other apps to make free call or low cost calls,

1. Nimbuzz - Provides free calls, video calls and messages to other nimbuzz users with low cost calls to phones, not only can you call and chat to nimbuzz users you can also chat and call other IM clients via account menu in the app. (These include Windows Live Messenger, Yahoo Messenger, Facebook, & Google Talk). You can also send files and pictures to your contacts and join chat rooms. Available for Android, Apple, Blackberry, Nokia & Java Devices. Can also be used on Windows PC, Mac & tablets.

2. Skype - Provides free calls, video calls and chat on PC with low cost calls to phones , Mac, Linux, Smart Phones, & TV.

3. Tango - Free tango to tango calls & videos, similar to whatsapp but with added calling features & playing games. Available for Windows & smart mobiles such as Android, windows phone, apple products & tablets.
